The house we lived in after we moved to the Havenstraat from the Odulphusstraat.
It was for me a move with benefits. Not too long after we moved there the Jan Keulen family moved in across the street and I gained two wonderful playmates: Jan en Sjors Keulen.
We had great times playing all sorts of games.
One game in particular comes to mind. Jan Keulen was an avid reader and possessed a fertile imagination. He had read the story of King Arthur and his Knights and for one whole summer we played in the Witteburch imagining we were the Knights of King Arthur. I was Knight Lancelot and Harmen de Blaauw was King Arthur.
